Company Profile

Stephen Ross established Ross Property Consultants several years ago as a result of growing concerns that he held about the stress and anxiety that buyers were going through and the enormous amount of time many people were wasting while searching for that dream home or that perfect investment property.

There seemed to be an inequity in the property sector when it came to inexperienced and underrepresented buyers competing with well informed and experienced property buyers and professional investors.

He felt that there was a greater need to make a level playing field where everyone from the first home buyer or the novice property investor could share in the same benefits that the well informed and skilled buyer had been enjoying for many years.

The obvious solution was to translate his concerns and a wealth of experience in the accounting and financial arenas into the property sector as a Buyer’s Advocate.

Professionally

Stephen has a wealth of experience in the area of financial accounting with more than 30 years experience as an Accountant; with 17 of these years having been spent as a self employed Contact Accountant. Over the past six to seven years he has developed an enormous understanding of the property market and now specialises in property investments.

To enhance his personal and professional development in the accounting sector Stephen has studied for and enjoyed membership as a Fellow of CPA Australia. Not only that, but more recently he has studied for and been admitted as a member of the Real Estate Institute of Victoria.

Socially and Community Involvement

Not only has Stephen uncompromisingly pursued his career as an accountant but has volunteered much of this experience back into the community. To this end he is currently the treasurer for “A House for Life Charity”. For those who may not be familiar with their work they are a charity looking to independently house young adults with disabilities in a group environment.

In his spare time he can be found out on the bay enjoying his passion for keel boat racing as a member of the Sandringham Yacht Club, or relentlessly pursuing a little white ball around Woodlands Golf Club, where he is a member.

Personally

Being the proud parents of three grownup children, Stephen is married to Sue and together they are enjoying the opportunity to follow their dreams of self employment while securing a very sound future in their post career years.

They have lived in the Bayside area all their lives.

During his younger years Stephen enjoyed growing up in the area while being an active member of the Half Moon Bay Life Saving Club, as well enjoying a number of years playing football at the Beaumaris Football Club.

He received an established education at Beaumaris High School and later at Melbourne High School.

All in all a very impressive background and a well established education, career and history of personal and professional self development and a fantastic level of achievement.
